Hi All

Camden Coaches have organised a coaching clinic to take place at Camden on Sunday the 23^rd November from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. There is a session in the morning that has been organised for District juniors and coaches but we have also organised a clinic in the afternoon for those that may be interested. The clinic will be run by Karen Murphy. For those that may not be aware of who Karen is, Karen would be one of the most prominent bowlers in Australia’s lawn bowling history. Karen has far too many titles to list here but by all reports her clinics are well worth attending.

Unfortunately the clinic is limited to only 12 to 14 people. So it is first in best dressed. The cost is $32 per person. This would have to be paid on acceptance of your email. You can be assured that I will take first in, first, although my wife has already booked a spot. (Not game to say no) So there are only 11 to 13 spots left. I will take phone calls up to 8:30 pm of a night.

I am certain it would be $32 well spent if you want to improve your bowls. If not you get to have a coaching lesson by one of the world’s best on our own greens.

Hi All,

Just a reminder that the clubs 75th Anniversary Day is on the 12th October. …this will be a very special and enjoyable day of a game of bowls, lunch and the chance to meet and hear some of the major officials in our game. This will also be the day that the 75th Anniversary book of the history of Camden Bowling Club will be launched by the author, Frank Farrugia. A ‘not to miss’ event.

If you haven’t been to a day like this before please give it some consideration. The cost is only $20, which I am sure, by the end of the day, you will feel is well spent. Please put your name on the list on the board at the club. There is only a few weeks left.
