Wednesday 25th March 2015

Elderslie High School students have been practising and playing bowls this term and finished with a pairs competition which was completed today.

1st Semi Final – Was won by Blake Wales & Jamie Kynaston over Joel Robertson & Mitchell Coe in a very tight match 5-4.

2nd Semi Final – Was won by Maddie Ripol & Bridget McDonald over Sana Tariq & Tayla Roberts in another very hard fought match 5-3.

Final – Blake Wales & Jamie Kynaston were too strong for Maddie Ripol & Bridget McDonald and were convincing winners.

Metro Shield

A number of STDBA Juniors were asked to play for Zone 13 in the Metro Shield held at the Fairymeadow Bowling Club, Sunday 8th March with Sam Dukes representing the Camden Club. Sam played 2 games of 3 and his rink won on both occasions. The standard of play was very high with Zone 16 winning the Shield for the third year in a row.
